Triggering Material. Laurent has a number of trigger warnings that are attached to him/his canon. Most are easily avoidable because of how he operates, but I've listed below the offensive triggers with short descriptors of how they occur in canon in black. If you are triggered by a blanket subject, please feel free to not highlight the black text and just put that/those trigger(s) down. If you are only triggered by a certain subject in certain contexts, looking at the descriptors might show you whether it's something you could handle or not. Child Sexual Abuse/Incest (likely to be no vocal mentions / potential for vague meta mentions - discussion about another character rare but can be explicit)- sexually abused by his uncle leaving several mental scars. typically he avoids talking about this, but certain events in Hadriel may cause meta to occur. i would usually speak around it in the same sort of ways he does. while he avoids himself, however, he will bring up what his uncle does to other boys and can even get explicit about it sometimes. If you will please fill out the form below based on what you're comfortable with, what degree of it, or if you don't want something discussed at all. Or feel free to opt out of all these things or interaction with him generally. Note: verbal triggers are for you, the mun, and your character icly. if you, personally, are okay with a trigger but do not want your character to deal with it, please note in the verbal questions what those are. the meta questions are for what you as a mun do not wish to read about regardless of IC talk or prose Journals Affected: Blanket opt out triggers: if you don't want any of the above discussed at all, please list it here, otherwise answer the below questions about IC context and Meta Can he mention anything above verbally in an IC context?: These are for the things he says to your character What can't he mention verbally?: What triggers would you like opted out of verbally / what degree of talk about a trigger are you comfortable with? Can any of the above be reflected on in meta?: These are for in 'action' brackets or in prose, when I describe his thought processes. If no, if something from his past does effect his thoughts I will leave it at 'reminds him of darker times' or something as vague as that. What can't he think about mentally?: Can he think about one thing but not another? Is there limits to the degree of discussion for the trigger? Thank you! |
